I know that pirates are brave and adaptable, but Cook seems to be lacking in just a little common sense here.
Spending all of his time down on the gun deck has given Lorenzo time to think, which has given him keen insight into the world around him. Plus it was so obviously vampires, how could Cook not see that?
Wonder what kind of sandwiches they like? I like grilled smashed turkey and cheddar with a little spinach and tomato. Mmm. Sandwiches.
